"Its disappointing, I bought it because I want it to last for a long time and the latch came off after only a week. My 5 yo lost it, customer service was hard to reach but once I reach them they told me they will send a replacement. I have not received the replacement yet."
"Great lunchbox, I love that I can put this in the dishwasher and never have to worry about silicone seals getting moldy. It does take some getting used to the fact that it’s not leakproof, but the containers help. My kid loves the magnets too. I do have a little trouble with the size of the compartments sometimes not quite fitting what I want them to, so I may try another size."
"My toddler loves a variety of foods so this lunchbox is perfect for him at daycare. The sports stickers and matching lunch box will also grow with him as he gets older. Love the little containers for pasta and olives or more liquid foods. The lunchbox also has great room for adding extra snacks. Washes easily and looks sleek and is sturdy for everyday use! Highly recommend and will be buying again."
"We bought these for the new school year. We usually use Aohea and by comparison Aohea feels stronger, has more compartments, and feel bigger. In general, Planet box lunch bento are a bit more stylish with the magnets. I wouldn’t recommend. We do however love the Planet Box carry bag, soooo cute!!! Don’t bother with their ice packs. Disappointed on quality."
"I feel accomplished that I am able to give my daughter a safe and healthy eating experience while at school. My daughter also doesn’t like certain foods touching, so with all the compartments, she can have her fruit, pasta, and snacks separate for a more appealing lunch experience! Thank you for creating such a box where both her and I are happy! P. S. she loves the magnetics, she puts them on the fridge when doesn’t have school. Lol"
"I bought one for my oldest a couple years ago and just bought another for my second kid as he entered school. Great box, they can undo it themselves easily. I love that none of the food touches plastic. The metal box itself isn’t leak proof but the containers that go inside are. I can’t yet send my kids with those I’ve found out because they don’t secure the lids back on well after lunch and then yogurt etc gets all over everything. But they’ll grow into it! Great for everything else though"
"I love this lunchbox for its simplicity and durability. We just finally had to get a new one — our last one survived three kids over two families (over 10 years) and is only being semi-retired because the hinge is finally failing. This thing is bomb proof, environmentally friendly, plastic free, and I can wash it in the dishwasher. It’s the best!"
"We love these. Started off with 2 “1 for each kid” and they hold up great through the dish washer. The only downside is the price to be honest. I had to stay on top of dishes and get the same 2 cleaned every night…. Well I’m not a perfect dad… so I ordered 6 more. Might of spent their college fund and sold of some organs to pay for them; but their grandkids can probably use them one day."
"There is a lot of space between the compartments, increasing the overall size but not the volume of food it can hold. The largest spot is not big enough for a full sandwich. And if you want to use the big container with lid, you lose the largest compartment."
"My husband and I are both obsessed with making lunches for our 4 kids now that we own the planet boxes. We ended up making a second order for some snack containers and lunch bags! We can’t recommend this sturdy lunch box enough. It cleans so well too! Highly recommend"
