REMOVE THE MAGNETS from your PlanetBox before washing. The magnets are not designed to get wet. Dry your box thoroughly after washing and before re-attaching the magnets.
Wash your PlanetBox in the dishwasher or with soap and water before first use. Always wash your PlanetBox promptly after use – you can wash either in the dishwasher or with a mild soap and water. Avoid detergents with bleach.
Use the Dippers for “wet” foods like yogurt, applesauce or dips. Some fruits can be very juicy and should be packed in the Dippers as well. The Dippers can be placed inside the lunchbox, or packed separately for snacks.
PlanetBox is not designed for hot foods. Please allow food items to cool before putting them in the interior compartments or the Dippers. Hot foods can create a vacuum that can cause the lid to compress, which can lift up the edges and compromise the seal. Make sure your food is cool before attaching lid.
If foods are left for extended time periods in a hot environment the contents of the dipper may swell causing a slight “burping” when opened. We recommend using our ColdKit to keep foods cool.
Instruct children to place the dippers flat on a table before removing the lid. When the lids of the dippers are removed, the dipper bases should be flat on the table and not sideways, or else the contents can spill.
Bending, chewing, and any other misuse of the lids can compromise their functionality and is not recommended.
Closing your dippers: When you attach your dipper lid you will want to make sure that it is sealed all the way around the perimeter.
Never put your PlanetBox or the Dippers in the microwave or the oven.
PlanetBox products contains small parts and are not intended for children under 3 years of age.
"The Rover is truly perfect for my son - he can't stand it when his foods touch, and something about the layout and small compartments just work for him. He will eat food out of the PlanetBox just caused its packed in the PlanetBox, which astounds me."

"I have to tell u how much I am enjoying my PlanetBox Rover! I don't get a lunch break (school nurse!) so I eat at my desk. It is so easy to close the lid & set to the side when kids come in. Then I can open & graze again! Trying to watch my weight - and you are making it so easy to control portions!”
-Rhonda J, Ontario CA
"Our 3 boys (elementary-high school) have been using their Rovers for 2 years now without losing a single piece! The hinged design and nesting containers means that there is no unloading and leaving anything behind (and I have one forgetful boy). There is enough room to keep even a high school boy well fed. And all I have to do is throw into the dishwasher. It's a rare mother who says she enjoys packing 3 lunches every morning!"
-Carolyn E, Hudson NY
“I had a great time trying out different meal combinations in the Rover. The PlanetBox is designed to help people pack well-balanced meals with sensible portions that are in line with the USDA's MyPlate guidelines. This makes it great for not just kids but adults too. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the seemingly complex, themed Bento Box websites out there but the great thing about PlanetBox is you can make these meals as complicated or as simple as you'd like, with our without a sandwich cutter, and they all look great.”

“I love our PlanetBox Rover. My kids love our PlanetBox Rover. Both of my boys request that I pack a lunch in it at least once per week and I am happy to do it because I think it is fun to pack and it always ends up looking pretty. I have over 30 lunch boxes in my collection and I reach for the Rover week after week because it’s my favorite of all of them!”

“I have absolutely loved the PlanetBox Rover lunchbox. I know Karson is getting everything he needs for lunch to eat healthy. I also love knowing that his food won’t be all squished by lunch time, and the cold food will remain cold thanks to the ice pack. I would highly recommend the PlanetBox for your school child, or for you as a adult that has to pack a lunch for work. I’m excited that I won’t have to buy a new lunch box every year, or in some cases more then 1 a year. PlanetBox is here for the long haul.”
