No-Bake Holiday Snow Balls
Calling all little bakers. These no-bake holiday snow balls are easy enough for kids to make mostly on their own, and depending on their age, they really can handle the whole thing from start to finish. No oven, no hot stove, just mixing, rolling, and a generous amount of sprinkles. Let them pick the mix-ins, roll the balls, and take full credit for the results. A little mess, a lot of fun, and a genuine confidence boost. That’s a win.
Ingredients
-
1 cup nut butter of your choice
-
½ cup honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup
-
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
-
Mix-ins of your choice: chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, or chopped dried apricots
-
¾ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
-
Holiday sprinkles
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the nut butter, honey, oats, and mix-ins and stir until fully combined.
Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture into your hand and roll into a ball. Repeat until you’ve used up all the mix.
Spread the shredded coconut and sprinkles together on a plate or flat surface. Roll each ball through the mixture until coated. If the coating isn’t sticking, dab a tiny bit of honey onto the ball before rolling — that does the trick.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to a month. Our Glass Food Storage Containers are perfect for keeping these fresh and stacking neatly in the fridge.
