"I use this for my own lunch (until my preschooler's appetite grows and will need to upgrade) and have found that it fits everything so nice and neat. The four latches make sure everything is secure. So easy to wash and the quality is great. I have yet to use the microwaveable tray (are we sure it's microwaveable?!) but that's a cool feature, too."
"My kiddo had been using a tiffin that was 20 years old and starting to fall apart, and frankly took up a lot of space. This is compact but still holds a lot of food. It would be nice if it came with a set of silicone inserts to make it more bento box. I like that the silicone piece is sole to keep it leak proof. I hope the latches hold up but they do seem sturdy."
"Box is nice but the top is microwavable and the bottom is not. No one can see the warning in the trays since it would be covered in food when you need to heat it up lol. Not sure why the smaller tray is microwaveable and the larger piece is not. I imagine hot foods would take up more space than cold food."
"I’m glad I read the fine print before purchasing or I would have been really annoyed. This does not come with all of the smaller items in the photo, just that top tray. I wish they developed a proper set for the bottom. That way you could buy the whole thing at once. Alternatively you could opt out of the other pieces and buy just the top tray and exterior compartment. It was confusing to figure out which pieces fit, and I ended up buying some pieces that didn’t fit. That said, the lunchbox is well-made. I haven’t tried microwaving the upper tray, but I am intrigued. I just wish there were more options and considerations for the lower compartment. Maybe some dividers and or a bundle set for the lower compartment."
"Looks great and will fit everything we need. I was specifically worried this box would be difficult to open and the tray would be difficult to remove, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The tray can be a bit tricky if only removing one side but if you use the notches on both sides and push out and up it is easy to remove. My kids haven’t had any issues opening the box or removing the tray."
"I bought this lunch-box because the ad literally had a child standing on it. ‘Indestructible’ or something was plastered over the ad. First day - dented in the middle of the bottom. The backpack style cooler bag is fine with this box, but the other bag suggested absolutely does not fit this darn lunch box, and I’m annoyed I wasted money on it. Yeah, you can cram it in, but then nothing fits in the pockets. The little recommended silicone inserts are a tight squeeze and I scratched the lid the first time when I tried to close the lunch box. I’m just very dissatisfied overall with my purchase. I was trying to ‘buy it for life’ to reduce my overall environmental load, but I’ll be shopping for a lunchbox again in the fall. I wasted a ton of money, and I get mad every morning when I try to cram it in the cooler bag my kid loves the look of."
"We have been part of the Planet box family since 2021. We have 2 Shuttle containers that are up until this date in like new condition despite being used every single day during the school years. We also own one Launch-still in great condition. And my kids are rough with their boxes! I have high expectations for this container. I like the idea of being able to microwave the upper tray and to put in the lower compartment different smaller containers."
"The tray is basically impossible to remove if you don't have stiletto nails so it needs to be pried out with something which is dumb. It looks like magnets automatically got added to my order but I didn't order them so it was more money than I thought, which is not cool. Its good otherwise though."

"my kids struggle with this but as an adult i have like 5 of these and use them EVERY DAY! the silicon can be hard to get used to for sealing but its a game changer for lunch at work every day. i actually use the internal tray as a dinner plate with the kids."
