Customers love the lunch sack for its stylish design, perfect colors, and excellent quality. The sturdy handle and insulated material keep food fresh, while the great fit allows for extra snacks and silverware. However, opinions vary on the pockets and material.

"Love the top-load design and simple velcro closure. The pattern my middle-school son chose was simple and perfect for his age bracket. Very happy with the style, design, and durability."
"These lunch bags are perfect for our lunch boxes. They fit perfectly and they arent to bulky or heavy. My little ones loved them… my toddler said it was his favorite lol we got the plain one no pattern or print on it. I am planning on putting their names. So far great."
"Just okay. The shipment took a long time. Its pattern is nice but the sleeve is not washable. For the price it’s just ok"
"Loved this for the first month or so of use it (only about 3 times per week) but then it became a moldy mess. Not just a little speck, but tons. This was with us taking good care of it too, and zero spills. When is this company going to add anti-microbial to the list of features?"
"Clean patterns, nice site, easy to open and clean"
"Great bag for school but a little heard to clean out when something spills"
"Like others, I wish took the reviews of mold seriously. We have used this for my daughter for the whole school year and summer camp mostly because I am stubborn and don't want to give up on it. It's extremely difficult to turn inside out to clean and it molds right away. Add in anything spilled and it smells disgusting all the time. Came back here to buy the same zippered one we have been using for our son's lunchbox instead."
"I wish I had read the other reviews- there are about 30 that say the same thing. Unlike other Planetbox products, this one molded in 3 weeks. We upgraded to the lunch sack (having used our old Planetbox bag for 2 years with no issues) and within 3 weeks there was mold on the inside that hasn't improved even with heavy washing. We have reached out to Planetbox to see if we can get a refund."
"I’ve had the planet box rover containers since my oldest son started pre-k. The stainless steel containers are the only thing that has made it through three boys. The lunch bags, however, are a huge disappointment. We’ve had broken zippers and extremely quick wear on the horizontal bags. The fabric on these vertical bags pills and wears very quickly. The worst part is that the interior liner holds moisture and molds in a week or 2. I’ve looked everywhere for a vertical bag that is 11”x8” and holds a water bottle on the side. Nothing. So planet box has made a lunch container with odd dimensions and you have to buy their lunch bags but replace them 3 times in a school year or send your kids with a moldy or torn lunch bag. I’m fed up. Planet Box, you need to do better with the bags. Please make a vertical lunch bag with a side water bottle pocket so it fits inside a backpack. The outside fabric needs to be sturdy and preferable with some more gender neutral fabrics kids 8-10 won’t be embarrassed by. My kids are refusing the prints. It’s unacceptable to make a lunch bag that grows mold. I realize you don’t want to treat the fabric. The current fabric actively welcomes mold. Something washable, wipeable, quick drying, nanosilver…I don’t know. You have to do better. Currently, my rover lunch containers aren’t usable because we have searched for a lunch box to fit them with no luck."
