Reviews

Rover replacement

"I bought this lunch box for my 11 year old (we had her previous case/cover for five years) and she loves the design and color, but she does not like how the water bottle pocket is smaller than the old version. She has an Owala and she says it doesn't fit. For what it's worth, it fits the Planetbox water bottle perfectly and I like the design a lot."

Nice bag so far

"I was a little nervous reading the reviews that said these bags don’t hold up well. We only got them this school year so time will tell but I like that it easily holds the Rover lunch box and is easy to open and close. Fun prints. Not heavy. Thin enough to not take up extra space in a backpack. And the color is cute!"

Roomy, cute, and kid-friendly!

"My kids can carry this thing themselves with no problem, and it’s so easy to wipe clean after a messy day. It fits our PlanetBox Rover lunchbox or the thermos perfectly, and I love the divided sections for keeping things organized. The leakproof containers that come with it are clutch for fitting in extra snacks. Plus the designs are just so cute. My kids and I are both obsessed - highly recommend!"

Emilie S. (5/5)

Great lunch bag

"Daughter loves the cat print and this bag is so functional. Fits plenty inside, whether she’s using the rover or a bunch of smaller containers. Pocket for the cold pack and the front pocket are very useful."

Ashley F. (5/5)

Cute bag, useful

"Like the larger zipper pouch inside that fits larger ice packs (or two small). Like the extra zipper storage on outside. The thermos holder could be a tad larger. It fits the thermos fit now if I squeeze it in, but worry about it ripping over time. Overall, highly recommend."

Cosmic Cloud Lunch Bag

"this is my second purchase of their lunch bag and the quality seems better and improved! our last lunch bag did start wearing out on the corners inside rather quickly but planet box replaced it. this time around it seems sturdier on the outside and especially the inside. so far my son loves his new lunch bag!"

Eliana Z. (5/5)

Fits bento lunch box

"The design is okay. Seems easy to clean. I really don’t see how it’s 2. 5 inches deep unless that is with forcing items inside and stretching it out to get more inside. Measured it’s around 1. 5 inches top to bottom. Fits bento lunch box and not really much room for anything else unless it’s something small and thin. Is hard to fit the water bottle on the side if you put too much inside the lunch box."

"Update: Somehow I overlooked an email received a couple days before I left this review and I'm SOOO happy to report that PlanetBox more than made up for the error. I'm so glad because I've been a big fan of everything we've ordered! We placed a large order of multiple items, but what we received was incorrect from what we ordered. I've tried to reach customer service for longer than a week, sending three messages now via email and socials; however, I have yet to receive ANY response. We've never had a problem with past orders, so we've never needed to reach out. Now that there is an issue it seems that customer service is non-existent...?? So very disappointing and frustrating!"

Liner quality needs addressed

"We've had this bag for one year. I love the design and slim profile. Full zipper allows us the dry out and reduce mold concerns. The problem is the liner. We had one bag replaced through the warranty program which was easy to do and much appreciated. However, the replacement bag after 2 weeks of use is also experiencing the same issue. I want to purchase a replacement but it doesn't seem like a good investment."

Noticeable Quality Change

"I've been purchasing PlanetBox products for about 10 years and have always loved them. I was surprised to see that the Insulated Lunch Box has changed; it feels a bit more flimsy now and no longer has the sturdy structure it used to have. I'm wondering if this affects its ability to keep lunches cool."
