"I love the quality and design of this lunchbox. However, it's thought out to work mostly with other PlanetBox lunch and snack containers. The outside pouch isn't large enough to fit my kids Thermos or Hydroflask water bottles. And the one with a zipper doesn't fit almost anything. The lunchbox is just big enough for my Bentgo box and an apple pouch. Any other snacks are hard to fit. I just have to put them in his backpack."
"I chose this lunch box because it's rather flat and would fit well into my laptop bag. I'm really happy with it! It has a good zipper and the insulation is thicker than my kids' cheap lunch boxes from Target. I use a flat ice pack and it keeps my big salad cool until lunch time."
"This bag is sized perfectly for the Rover lunchbox, my son's go-to lunchbox for daily school lunches. It is stylish and low profile, with convenient outer pockets for snacks (or i think a water bottle would fit if you were carrying the bag on its own -- since it goes in a backpack, we haven't tried that). it is well made and seems to keep things cool (using the ice pack that fits in the inner pocket) until lunchtime."
"It took me so long to finally buy a lunch bag for our rover. I’m so glad we finally have one! This is fairly sleek and really not too heavy or bulky. I love the solid colors with cream webbing. I wish there was more vertical space in the bag; it really *only* holds the lunch box and and ice pack. I wish I could throw in a couple of things on top of the lunch box. I also feel like the insulation is a bit weak. It works, but it’s not impressive. Additionally, I can’t believe this isn’t washable in the washing machine. For such a “premium” item & brand, that feels like a basic quality that’s essential. We have lunch bags from another brand that wash so well in the washing machine, so I really hope plant box solves that issue and makes washable lunch bags for us soon."
"We ended up purchasing a couple of these after finding that the Rover lunchbox is too big to easily fit or fit at all in my kids' existing lunch bags. They fit the Rover well, and the Shuttle box fits with enough space to put a small drink next to it. I wish they were a little thicker as I prefer to put freezer packs on top of and underneath the lunch boxes, but these will only fit one or the other. I also like that there's no elastic anywhere as that always gives out well before the rest of the bag is done."

"I have tried multiple lunch boxes with different kids over the years and Planet Box is by far the easiest to pack and clean and to keep cold or hot. I just gave away our other bento boxes and bought all 5 kids a planet box. It has made packing lunches so much easier! The kids are excited about them too."
"I adore the room and compartments . However, I wish they had slots for ice packs on top and bottom. My Arctic Zone Pro expandable lunch pale has a separate compartment that hold the ice packs so my children don’t have to deal with it when getting their lunch out."
"This is our second planet box lunch bag. Our first was an older model that held up extremely well for K-2 grades but was starting to show its age. The materials on the newer model do not seem as thick/durable as our original. Time will tell if it holds up as well. Our kiddo loves her new lunch bag and the kitty cat print is super cute! The price was reasonable as well."
"I bought this lunch box for my 11 year old (we had her previous case/cover for five years) and she loves the design and color, but she does not like how the water bottle pocket is smaller than the old version. She has an Owala and she says it doesn't fit. For what it's worth, it fits the Planetbox water bottle perfectly and I like the design a lot."
