We use SAC lead-free solder (Tin, Silver, and Copper) in our insulated bottles and containers.

"I’m a huge PlanetBox mom—it’s the only brand I use for all of my son’s lunch and snack needs. He also uses the kids’ version of this water bottle. I absolutely love the concept of this bottle, especially that it’s plastic-free and made with safe materials. My only issue is that I find I have to suck quite a bit harder to get water out compared to something like a Stanley. I think if the steel/silicone straw were slightly wider, it would make it much easier to drink water quickly. That said, this could totally be a personal preference or an issue that doesn’t affect everyone else!"

They're the only water bottle on the market that is actually plastic-free, so I was so excited when I saw they were making adult ones. The size is perfect for being out and about. "I have to open the spout, a very specific angle in order for air to not come through the straw. I tested out my daughter‘s water bottle to see if it does the same and it does not do the same thing. I don’t know why the larger water bottle does that. Maybe it’s just mine and I need to return it for another one? But it is annoying that whenever I go to drink water I’m sucking in air bubbles."

"Overall, this is a wonderful bottle. We love the fact that it is made with only stainless steel and silicon. That is awesome. Unfortunately, the botton silicon sit for the bottle already has a crack and is breaking. This is a little surprising, since we have only had it for a week or so. Hopefully we can replace the bottom bottle protector somehow."
