"Love the simplicity of the design, easily washable features and lack of plastics. However, the screw top is really challenging to engage properly, leading to improper alignment (leaks) and over-tightening. Patience is key, and it works perfectly when you take the time to precisely screw on the lid. But the luxury of time isn’t really available for moms filling kids’ water bottles, so I end up choosing alternative styles."
"I was excited for a plastic free water bottle for my son and really like that it has a handle and boot. But the lid is hard to screw on correctly and every time the bottle drops on the ground, water comes pouring out. Unfortunately this has happened a few times in a few weeks and I’m just going to buy him a different one. It was a waste of money."

"I love everything else I've bought from planetbox, but these just do not hold up to drops. Because there isn't enough threading for the lid, it'll just pop off when knocked off a table. Love the concept, especially the stainless steel straw and how easy it is to clean but... oh well."

"I love it mainly for two reasons - leak-proof and easy to clean! The pieces go in the dishwasher so easily and my two year old has no problems using it. We haven't ahd any leakage issues either."
"We were really excited to find a plastic free water bottle for our kids, but sadly found this to mold quickly. All around the straw on top of the cap and in the inside of the cap became covered in black mold spots. Initially we scrubbed it off but it reappeared quickly and we didn't feel comfortable using it anymore."
"We love the planetbox merchandise. This is our 4th water bottle from them, second straw one, the first one I've experienced a problem with. The lid doesn't fit properly, it takes a lot of effort to screw it in, and then it's impossible to unscrew it. I tried a lid from an older bottle on the new one and had zero problems. I've reached to customer service via mail to see if I could get a second lid, since there is nothing wrong with the bottle, yet to hear back. Other than that, we love the brand. We have 6 lunch boxes from Planetbox, we've been using for years, and they are still looking and working great."

"We’ve bought these water bottles a few times and they worked great. We recently bought new ones to replace old ones and the lid is slightly redesigned. They pop off super easily and are difficult to screw on. We’ve had multiple instances of the top popping off now, which is frustrating because stuff gets soaked and it’s also not safe given the stainless steel straws. I’m now looking elsewhere for new water bottles for my kids, I’m bummed because the previous version of these water bottles was great!"
