Too small and difficult

"It’s a good snack box for me, but not big enough for lunch for my elementary kids. It’s a better size for my preschooler but the lid is too hard for a 3 year old to close. So too small for my kids who can close it and too hard to close for my kid who it’s the right size for. I prefer to stick with the classic stainless steel lunchboxes and use silicone containers inside or outside of the box for leaky items."

absolutely leakproof!

"the best, actual leakproof lunch box! did the ultimate test by placing popcorn, kimchi, wakame/seafood salad, pickles and rice; and not one piece of popcorn or grain of rice was wet. every item/liquid stayed in its own compartment. Excellent product that really does what it’s supposed to do!"

Great for traveling!

"We were so excited to see this release! Our kiddo is still a bit too small to use it reliably for everyday school use without leaks, but it’s already been a huge game changer for packing food on the go and for travel. Highly recommend it for travel and outings, and we’re confident it’ll hold up well for school once our kiddo is a bit older."

Leakproof voyager

"This new addition to the planet box lineup is great! It is indeed leakproof if you can get the lid on right, which is a little tricky and time consuming. You have to burp each compartment after tightening all sides, which kids probably won’t have the patience for. Would work great for older kids. My 8 year old can put the lid on correctly, my 6 year old is still practicing. I am excited for all the new things that I can pack that I couldn’t with the Rover. Will be great for summer when I can help with the lid. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase."

"It was amazing, voyager is the one that I have been waiting for. No need more jar for get some soup. The customer care very helpful, for the service I can say PlanetBox deserved for 5 stars. Looking forward for another new items ❤️"

Excellent for upper elementary age kids

"This is an excellent size for my 2nd and 4th grade daughters. It leaves a little space in their non-planet box lunch boxes for a couple of dried snacks. They are high quality. We are happy that there is no plastic!"

LeakProof But for Big Kids Only

"Test for leakproof immediately after received it, sealed water and air very well! But it's very tricky to put the lid on, must press couple spots to close tightly. Not for small kids to do by themselves. The lunch box is lightweight and good size, can fit in all different brand lunch bags I have. It also can be use as a plate without the lid for eating at home to get more use, as I think it's pricy compared to the other PlanetBox collections."

"I wanted to love this so much, but the first lunch I packed with it. I put meatballs with red sauce. The red sauce ended up getting all over the other food so my son didn’t eat. He then couldn’t figure out how to put the lid back on correctly so I had an explosion by the time he got home from school. I havnt used it since. I’ve been using the OG planet box for 12 years now and 2 kids, one now in highschool!"

So far, so good! The

"So far, so good! The size seems good for ages 5 and up or adults. I also like it can be used as a meal tray at home. The quality is good, just like other PlanetBox items that we've used, and I like having this in the rotation of lunch boxes for variety for my kid and no plastic touching food!"

Honest review

"I love the concept of having a leak-proof lunch box but my honest take is that this specific lunchbox would work best for older kids — as the silicone lid needs to be securely snapped on to prevent leaks. I have a 4 year old and the rover is our lunchbox of choice (for now), but I’m going to hang on to this box for when he gets older or when I’m around for our lunch outings so I can help secure the silicone lid once he’s finished eating. It’s a smaller lunchbox (compared to the rover) but the depth is comparable to the shuttle or launch. Overall, I continue to be impressed with this brand and their commitment to sustainability and being plastic-free."
