Cheesy Broccoli Rice


2 cups water

1 cup (white) rice (from bulk section)

2 cups broccoli florets and stems (peel and chop the stems)

½ cup shredded cheese (block of cheese, shredded at home)



  1. Bring water to boil.
  2. Add rice* and cook 10 minutes.
  3. Add broccoli to pot and cook another 8 minutes
  4. Stir in cheese immediately

*If using brown rice, cook 45 minutes, add broccoli and cook another 8 minutes.
